Operations Administrator (9-Month FTC)

Company Outline

  • Location: Office based, Cannock
  • Salary: £26,227.50 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
  • Contract Type: 9 months Full-Time Contract

About the Role

At Phoenix Health & Safety (part of Wilmington plc), we're seeking a **highly organised Operations Administrator to support the smooth running of our Operations Department—a data-driven, customer-facing administrative role delivering health & safety training solutions.

You’ll handle a high volume of tasks, maintain accurate records, and ensure all course procedures and policies are followed while providing excellent customer service to students.

As an integral part of a collaborative team, you’ll need to prioritise efficiently, adapt to new systems, and maintain the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage course administration, including:
    • Enrolling delegates onto online accounts
    • Registering delegates with awarding bodies
    • Processing and submitting course results
    • Creating and running client reports
  • Ensuring compliance with all course policies and procedures
  • Handling student enquiries via phone and email professionally
  • Sending certificates within KPI deadlines
  • Supporting colleagues with general administrative tasks
  • Working with little supervision while delivering consistent results

Requirements

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience as an Administrator (or comparable role)
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Exceptional organisational skills with spatial attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage workloads, and multitask effectively
  • Self-motivated, trustworthy, and adaptable in a team of 7
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Full Microsoft Word & Excel proficiency
  • Permission to work legally in the UK by employment start date
