Operations Administrator

A City-based financial services firm is seeking an Operations Administrator to provide broad administrative and operational support across the business, working closely with the Directors and the wider team.

Responsibilities

The role covers a wide range of responsibilities. On the administrative side, you will:

  • Manage day-to-day office tasks
  • Handle incoming calls and correspondence
  • Book meeting rooms
  • Maintain the CRM
  • Support the Directors with various projects and ad hoc tasks

Within finance, you will assist with:

  • Income reconciliation
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Introducer payments
  • P11D compliance
  • Monthly payroll

On the compliance side, you will:

  • Maintain the compliance calendar
  • Collate monthly management information
  • Assist with internal and external file reviews
  • Send quarterly client newsletters
  • Keep the firm current with regulatory developments via the Three Sixty helpdesk

Requirements

The right candidate will have at least a year of experience in an administrative or operations role, ideally in a regulated environment. However, a strong general office background at a high standard will also be considered. Good Excel skills and a confident, professional communication style are essential. The firm is looking for someone methodical, organised and diligent, with the ability to manage a varied workload and bring a positive, hardworking attitude to the role.
