Operations Administrator – Asset Transfers (12-Month FTC)
We're looking for a detail-oriented Operations Administrator – Asset Transfers to join our Operations team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the transfer and administration of client investment accounts and assets, ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. As an Operations Administrator, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of client asset transfers and investment administration activities, working closely with internal stakeholders, custodians, and external providers to deliver a seamless client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing inbound and outbound transfers across ISAs, SIPPs, pensions, offshore bonds, nominee accounts, and general investment accounts.
- Managing the transfer and re-registration of equities, funds, bonds, and certificated holdings.
- Processing electronic asset transfers through Altus/ATG.
- Administering off-market transfers and portfolio re-registrations.
- Monitoring transfer activity and proactively following up with counterparties to ensure service standards are met.
- Supporting portfolio adjustments, valuations, book cost amendments, cash movements, and client payments.
- Assisting with nominee administration, corporate actions, and dividend-related activities.
- Responding to operational and client queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Contributing to process improvements, risk mitigation initiatives, and operational excellence.

About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Experience within Investment Operations, Wealth Management, Stockbroking, Platform Operations, or Financial Services Administration.
- A good understanding of investment products, including ISAs, GIAs, SIPPs, pensions, and offshore bonds.
- Knowledge of client asset transfers and re-registration processes.
- Strong administration and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience using Pershing NetX360 or other custody platforms.
- Knowledge of Altus ATG or similar electronic re-registration systems.
- Experience with CREST settlements and Stock Transfer Forms (STFs).
- Experience transferring certificated holdings into nominee or CREST accounts.
- Understanding of corporate actions, dividends, and nominee services.
- CISI Investment Operations Certificate or a similar industry qualification.
