The Operations Administrator is a part-time, on-site role based in Rochester. This role supports day-to-day operational activities, including managing documentation, maintaining records, and assisting with scheduling and coordination of utility connection projects. The Operations Administrator will communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to provide updates, respond to queries, and help resolve operational issues. Responsibilities also include supporting operations management tasks, such as tracking project milestones, preparing basic reports, and ensuring compliance with internal processes. The role contributes to a smooth office environment by handling general administrative duties and providing customer-focused support to the operations team.
Qualifications
- Operations Management and Administrative Assistance skills to support project coordination, documentation, and day-to-day office tasks.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, suppliers, and colleagues and to handle inquiries promptly.
- Solid Analytical Skills to review information, identify issues, and help improve processes and operational efficiency.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, and document tools) and basic data entry and reporting skills would be beneficial.
- Experience in utilities, construction, or a related operational environment, along with familiarity with project workflows, would be advantageous.
- A detail-focused work style, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in an on-site setting are preferred.
