Operations Analyst – Tech Enablement & Execution
Location: Remote, UK
Employment Type: Permanent
Role Overview
We are looking for an organised and proactive Operations Analyst to join a growing technology function within the insurance sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is keen to build experience across technology operations, governance, project delivery, and business support.
Working closely with senior technology leaders, you will help coordinate governance activities, support operational processes, maintain reporting and dashboards, and ensure key actions are delivered. You'll gain exposure to technology delivery, financial planning, change governance, and leadership operations while helping to improve operational efficiency across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Tech Enablement and Execution function.
- Coordinate activities across portfolio management, SDLC governance, and release management.
- Maintain delivery plans, resource tracking, and operational reporting.
- Prepare agendas, meeting packs, minutes, and action logs for governance and leadership meetings.
- Track key initiatives, risks, dependencies, and follow-up actions.
- Support technology budget reporting, forecasting, and variance tracking.
- Maintain dashboards, documentation, and shared repositories.
- Assist with governance processes, quality assurance, and audit documentation, including SOC and ITGC compliance.
- Work with PMO, SDLC, and Release Management teams to ensure delivery milestones remain on track.
- Draft and distribute internal communications, leadership updates, and presentations.
- Provide operational support to the Head of Tech Enablement and the wider leadership team.
- Act as a central coordination point across technology teams to ensure priorities are delivered efficiently.

Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an Operations Analyst or a similar operational role.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience producing reports, maintaining trackers, and coordinating multiple workstreams.
- Good understanding of project governance and technology delivery processes.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop within a technology function.

Desirable Experience
- Exposure to SDLC, PMO, or Release Management processes.
- Experience supporting governance forums or leadership meetings.
- Knowledge of audit or compliance processes, including SOC or ITGC.
- Experience within the insurance or financial services sector.
