The Operations And Commercial Manager Role Will Involve
- Developing and nurturing your team is critical to the success of this business, identifying talent to nurture and drawing on individuals’ skills that will benefit your business.
- You enjoy applying your interpersonal skills in order to secure key client relationships and lead by example to deliver a high-quality service, and secure extended business as well as new business.
- As leader of the unit, you take responsibility for the business budget and P&L, working with your commercial team.
- You will lead and work with your operational and commercial teams to drive high levels of productivity and ensure that work is delivered to a high quality, and within budget.
- Aware of the targets and expectations on each contract your business is responsible for, you ensure you and your team always leading by example with Health and Safety.
- You will lead the commercials with financial reporting processes and procedures for monthly and Quarterly reviews, collaborating with the General Manager.

What will you bring as Operations and Commercial Manager?
- Significant leadership experience in a similar role, ideally obtained from within a contracting environment. However, we are open to considering other transferrable backgrounds from the housing sector or from within a business that provides services that are high volume in nature, with customer satisfaction at the heart of what you do.
- Demonstrable experience of being passionate about your people, engaging, empowering and developing your team, bringing them on your journey.
- Experience in contributing to business/operational plans and profit and loss reporting, while managing your budget.
- Experience of developing exceptional client relationships through understanding of contract expectations, including KPIs and SLAs, delivering to a consistent high level, and managing any disputes effectively.
