Company Description

Joju Solar is one of the UK’s leading installers and maintainers of solar PV, battery storage and EV charging infrastructure, with over 20 years of experience delivering clean energy solutions.

Founded in 2006, Joju Solar has become a trusted partner to businesses, local authorities and public sector organisations. The company has won multiple national awards, including Contractor of the Year at the Solar & Storage LIVE Awards and EV Charge Point Contractor of the Year at the EVIE Awards.

Joju Solar is a market leader in community energy, having installed nearly 15% of all UK community energy projects, primarily rooftop solar PV systems across schools, community buildings and local authority estates.

The company also works with more than 100 public sector organisations to deliver EV charging infrastructure, including fast, rapid and on-street charging solutions. Our Operations and Maintenance team supports these systems throughout their operational life, helping customers maintain safe, reliable and high-performing renewable energy assets.

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced electrician with a strong background in solar PV to join our growing Operations and Maintenance team.

This is a full-time, home-based and field-based role, with travel to customer sites predominantly across the South of England. Occasional travel to other parts of the UK may also be required.

The primary focus of the role will be the inspection, testing, fault finding, maintenance and repair of commercial solar PV systems. The successful candidate will also support work on battery storage and EV charging infrastructure as their experience develops.

Previous EV charging experience is not essential. Training will be provided where required, including relevant manufacturer and technical training.

The role will involve carrying out planned preventative maintenance and responding to reactive faults, ensuring that systems remain safe, compliant and operating effectively.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
