About Us:

Fuse Energy is a forward-thinking renewable energy startup on a mission to deliver a terawatt of renewable energy - fast.

We're combining first-principles thinking with cutting-edge technology to build a radically better energy system. We raised $210M from top-tier investors, including Multicoin, Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, Ribbit, Box Group and strategic angels like Nico Rosberg, the CoFounder of Solana and GPs behind Meta, Revolut, Spotify, Uber and more.

We're creating a fully integrated energy company: from developing solar, wind and hydrogen projects to real-time power trading and distributed energy installations. By selling directly to consumers, we cut out the middleman, lower costs and pass on savings to customers.

But we're not stopping there. We're also building the Energy Network: a decentralised platform of smart devices to electrify our homes, shifting usage to off-peak hours and helping balance the grid. This network strengthens grid stability - a critical foundation for scaling AI data centres and other energy-intensive industries.

Purpose

As a key member of the Service team, the O&M Manager will be responsible for:

  • Full leadership of the Group’s Service department and functions.
  • Provide support to the EPC team for projects entering end of construction.
  • Responsible for newly constructed Power Plants, ensuring peak performance of Fuse Energy’s power plants coupled with full compliance of all contractual obligations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
