Operations Readiness
Reports to Senior Manager Operations Readiness, location to be determined.

Key Tasks And Responsibilities
- Project engineering support: Provides operational input into detailed engineering design and leads/supports safety studies (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, HRA, WERA), ensuring assigned actions are closed and joint operability with the Subsea team is built into the design.
- Start-up design readiness: Ensures the design supports safe, efficient start-up and first hydrocarbon introduction, and develops the Initial Start-Up Plan with resourcing, materials, services, and equipment estimates.
- Operational readiness building blocks: Supports development of operating procedures (and their HAZOP), performance standards, and verification schemes, plus recruitment and competency assurance for operations/start-up personnel.
- Leak testing & system handover: Coordinates operational support for topsides leak (N2/HE) testing and FPSO system handover, confirming readiness to assume care and custody ahead of RFSA and offshore operations.
- Start-up procedures & controls: Develops and HAZOPs detailed start-up procedures, prepares Pre-Start Safety Reviews for decision gates, and ensures all JSAs, isolations, and permits are approved by the OIM in time; integrates start-up planning into overall project scheduling.
- Start-up execution: Acts as the Project Manager's offshore representative, driving start-up, ramp-up, and Performance Testing/Practical Completion in collaboration with the Client, OIM, and FPSO Operations, managing changes through the MOC system, and supporting dynamic commissioning and resource planning.
- Reporting: Delivers timely progress input into Project and Asset Operations reporting systems.
- Coordination & governance: Aligns Procurement, Engineering, Construction, and Operations functions; runs the Technical Assurance Process (scope clarity, deliverable assignment, findings resolution/escalation); and supports governance and decision gate reviews.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Demonstrable experience in FPSO Start up and Stabilization.
Skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Experience in developing processes and procedures.
- Familiarity with Topsides Engineering and Process design.
