Located in Tain, Scotland, our branch offers 3,000+ plumbing and heating products, expert customer advice, and a track record of best-in-class service. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic trade environment.
Key Responsibilities
As an Operations Assistant (Applications Assistant), you will be instrumental in supporting daily operations within our branch. Your core duties include:
- Warehouse & operational duties –
- Completing picking, packing, and order fulfilment
- Handling goods-in and goods-out processes
- Supporting merchandising activities within the branch
- Assisting with efficient stock management

Customer service & trade counter support –
- Serving customers on the trade counter
- Understanding and recommending specialist products based on trade needs
- Delivering expert advice to customers to enhance their experience

Communication & relationship management –
- Responding to customer phone calls and emails with professionalism
- Maintaining a proactive, positive attitude to build strong client relationships
- Ensuring high standards of customer service at all times
Working Arrangements
This is a full-time role (42.5 hours per week) with the following schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- 1 in 4 Saturday mornings: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (paid at overtime rates)

- Experience/certifications (preferred but not essential) –
- Forklift license (considered beneficial but training provided if required)
- Full UK driving licence (preferred for support with relief delivery duties)
