About the Role: Operations Assistant
Location: Tain, Ross-shire Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 7:30am–5:00pm) + one in four Saturday mornings (8am–12pm, paid at overtime).
You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining smooth operations by:
- Warehouse duties: Picking, packing, receiving goods, and merchandising.
- Customer service: Advising trade customers on product needs and recommendations from the counter.
- Communication: Responding to phone calls and emails with a proactive, customer-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities
- District 46.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 7.30am-5pm, along with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 8am-12 noon (incentive) for picking, packing, customer service and administrative tasks.
Requirements
Must have:
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to undertake available training.
- Customer service experience and confidence in interacting and tailoring solutions.
Desired but not essential:
- Familiarity with forklift operation (training provided if required).
- Full UK Driving Licence (to cover occasional relief deliveries when needed).
