Company Description
ACS Aviation Limited, established in 2007, is a leading provider of flight training services based at Perth Airport. The company delivers pilot training for recreational licenses, as well as advanced qualifications such as Commercial Pilot License, Multi-engine Rating, and Instrument Rating. ACS Aviation also offers aircraft hire, giving trainees and licensed pilots access to a range of aircraft. In addition to training, the organization manages on-site engineering and oversees the operation of the entire airfield, providing a comprehensive aviation environment for learners and professionals.
Role Description
The Operations Assistant provides administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the organisation. Working closely with the Operations team, the role assists with coordinating flight training activities, managing customer enquiries, handling bookings and payments, supporting aircraft scheduling and maintenance planning, and maintaining effective communication between departments. As one of the first points of contact for customers and visitors, the Operations Assistant is expected to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, organisation, and safety in a fast-paced aviation environment.

- Strong Operational skills to support daily airfield and training activities.
- Analytical skills to manage schedules, assess operational data, and help optimize processes.
- Effective Communication skills to liaise with instructors, trainees, engineering teams, and external partners.
- Customer Service abilities to handle inquiries, support learners and visitors, and represent the organization professionally.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for record-keeping, documentation, and compliance support.
- Proficiency with common office software and scheduling tools; experience in aviation or training environments is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Perth, collaborate within a team, and adapt to a dynamic, safety-focused operational setting.
