Location: Peckham, London Salary: £26,695.08 per annum + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Role Overview

As a Branch Operations Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping the Peckham branch running smoothly while delivering exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Branch Manager in managing day-to-day operations and business administration.
  • Serve customers at the trade counter by:
    • Providing tailored advice
    • Sharing product knowledge
  • Warehouse duties, including:
    • Counter picking, booking, and putting away stock
    • Processing customer orders
  • Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, including:
    • Addressing queries professionally
    • Processing sales efficiently
  • General warehouse tasks:
    • Handling goods in and out
    • Arranging merchandising displays

This is a full-time position, with a standardised hours schedule: 40 hours per week (typically 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday).


Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse role (essential)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Willingness to learn and engage with any training opportunities provided
