Role description
As we scale, keeping the business running safely, compliantly, and intelligently is mission critical. We're looking for a sharp, hands-on Operations Associate to own a wide range of high-impact functions - from information security and legal coordination to recruiting operations and internal product quality and evals.
We're looking for someone methodical, collaborative, and agile, who thrives on action, has an AI-first mindset, and has the drive needed to build up the infrastructure and processes we need as we scale. - Work across a wide range of functions, including Infosec, Legal, Procurement, Recruitment and Product
- Work closely with our Chief of Staff, learning first-hand about what it takes to keep an early-stage startup firing on all cylinders
- Get hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI systems
- Design and launch the foundational processes that will power our future growth
Example focus areas
- Work with the Operations Leads, commercial team, and engineers to build internal infosec and compliance systems to streamline processes
- Build internal systems for and support onboarding of new-hires — a critical task as we continue to rapidly expand our team
About you
We're looking for an experienced operations associate who:
- Has at least 18 months of consulting experience, or 2+ years of experience in a similar bizops role at a startup
- Is organised and meticulous, able to independently plan, track, and tie off a wide variety of projects and tasks across a range of operational domains
- Has a strong ability to prioritise and execute, driven by business impact, and is quick on their feet when it comes to addressing operational needs and solving problems
- Has an active interest in AI; we're looking to hire someone who is curious about how LLMs work, comfortable getting into the weeds on model behaviour, and excited to be working at the frontier of what AI can do in professional services
- Has an exceptional work ethic, with a relentless focus on operational excellence and a bias to action
- Is a collaborative team player with strong and clear opinions they are unafraid to share to make things better
- Is highly responsive and has excellent communication and presentation skills
