About Dwelly

Dwelly — a UK-based, AI-enabled lettings and property management platform, that is growing through a roll-up strategy acquiring estate agencies. The company leverages two arms: i) acquiring existing letting agencies, effectively buying its highly sticky, recurring revenue-type landlords' portfolios, and then ii) building a top-notch technology to automate tenant management, payments, and post-rental property maintenance. The company seamlessly integrates AI services to automate all business processes within brick-and-mortar real estate agencies, integrating them into a tech-enabled digital letting platform in two months to radically improve the user experiences and increase efficiency of the business.

We’re a fast-growing, product-focused company, backed by top-tier investors and led by a team with deep experience in real estate, technology, and operations.

Position Summary

At Dwelly, Operations means problem-solving at scale in the real world — agencies, landlords, tenants, payments, maintenance. We're looking for a Operations Associate to join one of our ops teams and run high-impact projects end-to-end: scaling processes that weren't built for our pace of growth, fixing what breaks as we integrate new acquisitions, and building the systems that let us run more agencies without adding headcount.

You'll be deployed where the impact is highest — your exact team and projects will evolve as the business does. This is a hands-on, high-exposure role designed as a fast development pathway into an Operations Manager position. You'll work directly with experienced operators and get more ownership in your first six months than most people get in three years.

If you want unparalleled operating experience at one of the UK's fastest-moving scale-ups, let's get in touch.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives spanning operations, product, agency teams, and our maintenance provider network (maintenance supply management, process rollouts, SOP design and adoption, KPI dashboards, post-acquisition integration support, and more)
  • Own the feedback loop for our maintenance provider platform and mobile app, relaying user feedback to the product team and vibe-coding fixes yourself
  • Test and iterate scalable processes and playbooks, then take what works and roll it out across our acquired agencies (some UK travel required)
  • Dig into data to identify the root cause of problems, propose solutions, and implement them yourself
  • Execute initiatives to drive revenue from our ancillary services while maintaining exceptional landlord and tenant experience
  • Build and optimise processes to improve speed, reliability, and cost-efficiency without compromising on service standards

Qualifications & Preferred Background:

  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment - investment banking, consulting, PE/VC - and/or 2+ years at a high-growth, AI-native startup
  • You've built something 0-1 before
  • Natural curiosity and a strong ability to break complex problems into smaller, actionable components
  • Strong analytical skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with data
  • An extremely structured, execution-driven working style with excellent attention to detail
  • Hands-on AI fluency: you use LLMs daily to analyse, draft, automate, and build small tools - and you do it without waiting for engineers (expect to do exactly this in our interview process)
  • Above everything, we hire for three traits:
    • High agency - a bias for action and relentless execution
    • High intelligence - you reason from first principles and learn fast (we hire for slope over intercept)
    • High integrity - you're open about what worked, what didn't, and what you don't know

What is it like being a Dwell-er?

Feel free to check out Dwelly Core Principles. That’s about what we believe in, how we operate and make decisions.

What we offer is not a fancy office or a static workplace. Instead, this is solving one of the world's most complex problems in the largest consumer industry in the world (residential rentals), to improve the experience for >30% of households (>5M in the UK, and >100M including EU and US) that live in rental homes.

This is about disrupting the largest, most antiquated industry in the world, with one of the strongest operational and technical teams that exist in the UK and the EU. We work hard, and we shoot for extremely ambitious results. But we want people to be proud of what they’ve built and be able to look back and say one day “hell yeah, that was me that did it all”.

  • Customer obsession rather than competitive focus
  • Passion for invention
  • Operational excellence
  • Long-term thinking

By applying for this position, you consent to the processing and storage of your personal data for recruitment purposes for up to 365 days, in accordance with our data retention policy and applicable data protection laws.
