Operations Associate

We’re looking for an Operations Associate who thrives in a fast-moving environment where no two days look the same. This role is perfect for someone who loves figuring things out, jumping into new challenges, and helping teams run smoothly behind the scenes.

You should be comfortable stepping up to lead projects when needed and stepping down to support others when necessary. This is a high-trust role, you’ll be exposed to confidential information and work closely with leadership, so discretion and good judgment are essential. An enthusiasm for AI and new technology is a must, as we constantly explore new tools and ways to automate and improve how we work.

Who we are

Lightdash is the first Agentic BI platform for modern data teams. Instead of manually building and maintaining dashboards, use AI to build and manage your analytics so your team can focus on strategy while the business gets trusted, self-serve insights. We are backed by top VC firms and work with customers like Workday, Octopus Energy and many others.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

How we work at Lightdash

  • We build in public. Open source means moving fast with shared context.
  • We challenge problems, not people. No blame, just solutions.
  • We’re highly collaborative. Independent, but we win as a team.
  • We bias hard toward impact. We’d rather ship the wrong thing quickly and learn, than waste weeks polishing what nobody needs.

What you'll work on

Growth Team Support

  • Own conference logistics end-to-end: sourcing and booking venues, negotiating contracts, coordinating with design on booth fit-out, organising merch, and planning side events for customers and prospects.
  • Help run customer events such as community meetups, executive dinners for prospective customers, and celebratory dinners with key enterprise customers.
  • Build and manage a gifting program with marketing and sales: identify suppliers, test products, and organise delivery logistics.
  • Document best practices and preferred suppliers (vendors, restaurants, hotels, airlines, etc.) so the team can move faster over time.
