Operations Automation Lead – Senior Associate
Shape the future of operational efficiencies and your career by spearheading our intelligent automation initiatives to design and reinvent workflows. Coach and mentor team members, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver transformative training on workflow automation to streamline and revolutionise the firm’s processes.
About the Role
As an Operations Automation Lead (Senior Associate) in the Process Design Team, you will drive and manage intelligent automation and business analysis projects, translating operational needs into scalable, digitised solutions. Your role will focus on:
- Gathering requirements from the operational function
- Implementing automation and digital transformation strategies
- Delivering measurable outcomes to enhance capacity, reduce risk, and optimise operations
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end process automation engagements, including:
- Requirements gathering, solution architecture, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement
- Ensuring adherence to firm standards, governance, and intelligent automation controls
- Define and manage the operational automation strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders, including IT and business partners
- Design and implement scalable intelligent automation solutions to:
- Create new capacity
- Mitigate risks
- Streamline operational processes
- Mentor and coach junior team members on automation tools and develop training materials, including workflow automation curricula
- Align and drive deliverables via Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and automation benefit tracking with stakeholders

Required Qualifications & Skills
Broad experience and proven expertise in:
- Intelligent automation (e.g., RPA, cognitive applications) and business analysis
- Complex data analysis with a deep understanding of operational risks and implications
- Advanced problem-solving methodologies, particularly in:
- Business and technical modelling
- Anticipating issues and using technology to mitigate risks
- Proficiency in one or more intelligent automation platforms, including relevant programming languages
- Leadership in working groups, mentoring junior colleagues, and fostering knowledge sharing
Preferred Qualifications
- Elite skills in:
- Business analysis, process design, development, testing, and deployment
- Experience working in financial services or a regulated industry
