Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Cheltenham (office based)
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)
Salary: £27,000 per annum, plus bonus

About the Role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Operations Co-ordinator to join our Operations team in Cheltenham. This is a key role supporting the day-to-day running of operational activities across the business, working closely with engineers, schedulers, and management to ensure resources, equipment, and compliance requirements are effectively managed.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating a variety of administrative and operational activities, helping to maintain the smooth delivery of services across the business. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and takes pride in maintaining accurate records and supporting colleagues across the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage stock control and distribution of engineer equipment and uniforms
  • Liaise with suppliers to order equipment and operational resources
  • Support the Operations Manager and Technical Manager with operational activities
  • Maintain accurate records of engineer qualifications, training, and health and safety requirements
  • Ensure engineer equipment remains compliant, calibrated, and appropriately maintained
  • Arrange fleet servicing, MOT bookings, and hire vehicles
  • Organise engineer accommodation and hotel bookings when required
  • Support the planning and coordination of engineer audits
  • Assign Regional Partner work to franchise engineers
  • Monitor the progress of Regional Partner work and ensure it is completed within agreed timescales
  • Provide general administrative support to the Operations team
  • Work closely with scheduling, sales, and engineering teams to maintain effective communication

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • Previous experience in an administrative, operations support, or coordination role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to work accurately and maintain attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Professional and proactive approach to work
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £27,000 per annum, plus bonus.
