What You’ll Be Doing
- Collate and interpret environmental data to support risk assessments
- Manage data queries and produce clear data summaries to inform decision-making
- Review monitoring requirements to ensure evidence-led and data-driven decisions
- Support carbon accounting by gathering, validating, and analysing Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions data in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 frameworks
- Track and model key energy and water efficiency metrics, including PUE, WUE, and cooling performance, using global platforms such as Excel and Power BI
- Support compliance activities, like mandatory reporting, disclosures, and environmental permit requirements across multiple live data centre sites
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and construction engineering teams to identify and drive carbon reduction opportunities
- Support budget management for the region
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related STEM field
- Excel skills, with exposure to tools like Power BI, SQL or carbon accounting platforms (nice-to-have)
- Interest or basic understanding of data centre infrastructure (power, cooling, generators) and efficiency metrics (PUE/WUE)
- Ability to work with and analyse large datasets (academic or internship experience is sufficient)
- Strong communication skills – able to turn complex data into clear insights and presentations for stakeholders
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with impact
- Problem-solver mindset with the ability to identify risks, optimise processes, and support data-driven decision making
- Building a UK network which needs site travel abilities.
