The Role
As an Operations Controller, you’ll manage day-to-day courier resources within the Service Centre, making sure deliveries and collections run efficiently and customer SLAs are met.
You’ll work closely with the Service Centre Manager and Operations Manager to create a KPI-driven environment focused on service, safety, and performance. This is a hands-on role where judgement, pace, and attention to detail really matter.

Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who We Are
CitySprint is a UK-wide logistics business delivering same-day and time-critical services for customers who need things done right, first time. We work at pace, rely on good judgement, and trust our people to take ownership.
We’re also part of DPD and the wider Geopost group, giving us the backing, scale, and stability of a leading international delivery network — while CitySprint remains very much its own business, with a distinct focus and way of working.
It’s a busy, fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly, and you’ll be trusted to manage resources, make decisions, and follow things through.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and allocating courier resources in line with customer SLAs and network requirement.
- Monitoring courier performance and taking action where standards fall short.
- Handling day-to-day customer, courier, and operational queries.
- Keeping systems updated accurately (e.g. CityTrak / X-Despatch).
- Supporting onboarding and compliance of courier resources.
- Working with colleagues to plan for peak periods and improve performance.
- Maintaining a safe, organised working environment.
