Operations Coordinator

Permanent

Ednaston, Derby: £25,000 - £30,000

Office-based | 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm)

Join one of the UK's leading environmental compliance companies as an Operations Coordinator, where you'll play a key role in ensuring essential maintenance services are delivered efficiently for our customers.

Whether it's coordinating engineers, keeping customers updated, or making sure every planned maintenance visit runs smoothly, your organization and communication skills will have a real impact. Every schedule you coordinate helps ensure hospitals, schools and commercial buildings receive the compliance services they need to keep people safe.

What you'll be doing:

As an Operations Coordinator, you'll be at the centre of our service delivery, ensuring planned preventative maintenance (PPM) work is coordinated efficiently and delivered to the highest standard. You'll:

  • Schedule and coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works in line with service KPIs.
  • Liaise with Engineering Supervisors to ensure engineers are scheduled efficiently.
  • Keep customers informed throughout every stage of the service process.
  • Coordinate engineer attendance and manage customer communications.
  • Process completed work and maintain accurate records within our Opuz system.
  • Troubleshoot scheduling and service delivery issues, finding practical solutions.
  • Support the Service Delivery Manager with reporting, contract information and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure customer information and service documentation remain accurate and up to date.

What you'll bring:

We're looking for someone who enjoys staying organized, building positive relationships and keeping multiple priorities moving. You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a coordination, scheduling, planning, administration or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a busy workload.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach.
  • The ability to work independently whilst being a supportive team player.

Experience working within field service, logistics, engineering support or scheduling environments would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
