Description
Full-time remote. Location-flexible. English-fluent. $1,100 USD/month starting, with performance-gated step-ups.
About Us
Drop Zero Digital is a small lifecycle email marketing agency. Founder-led, fast-moving, allergic to meetings about meetings. We work with ecommerce brands on Klaviyo.
The Role
This Is The Internal-facing Operations Seat. You Support The Founder + Scale Our Hiring + Own The Operational Infrastructure That Keeps DZD Running. Specifically, Four Lanes
- Hiring operations + people support. Coordinating the hiring pipeline, scheduling, internal communication, ATS hygiene.
- Tom assistant + EA. Inbox triage, calendar management, prep docs, follow-up reminders, scheduling.
- Operations infrastructure. SOP drafting, process docs, internal organisation, Notion/Drive maintenance.
- Cross-cover. Backstop on internal handoff hygiene when the project manager is heads-down on client work.
Weekly load shifts between lanes. Some weeks you're tracking 30 candidates, others you're rebuilding the onboarding doc from scratch. You triage your own time.
Who We're Looking For
Read this list and think "yes, that's me." If you think "I could grow into that," this isn't the right role yet.
- Accountable. You show up, own misses in present-tense process change, close loops in the right channel by stated deadline. You don't externalise problems onto tools, briefs, or other people.
- Strong written communication. Async-first business English, clear and structured. Most of our work happens in writing, so your written shape matters more than your spoken charisma.
- Warm: hungry, positive, growth-oriented. Energy points up. You want to do more. You ask 10-20 questions a day in week 1 because you want to understand the work, not because you're confused.
- Organisation + judgment under ambiguity. You hold multiple threads simultaneously without dropping any. You make good calls when context is incomplete instead of waiting for perfect briefs.
- Long-term commitment. You see this as a 2+ year career home, not a 6-month bridge. FT only, no side-hustle ambiguity, no "I'll see how it goes" hedging.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
