Operations Coordinator

Operations Coordinator – Permanent Position

Location: Brighton Salary: £30,162 per annum Hours: 45 hours per week Shifts: Monday to Friday, covering various times (7 am to 7 pm)

About the Role

This permanent Operations Coordinator role sits at the heart of our Service Centre, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating couriers to meet customer service-level agreements (SLAs)
  • Supporting the control team and resolving operational queries efficiently
  • Ensuring collections and deliveries align with customer requirements
  • Maintaining accurate systems like CityTrak and X-Despatch

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, your core tasks include:

  • Managing courier routing to meet customer deadlines
  • Assisting drivers and resolving operational issues promptly
  • Collaborating with operations and control teams for seamless workflows
  • Keeping systems data accurate (e.g., CityTrak/X-Despatch)
  • Adapting plans prioritisation as operational demands evolve

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a busy operational or customer-facing environment
  • Ability to communicate confidently and multitask efficiently
  • Strong organisation and accuracy, with comfort using operational systems
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, etc.)

While logistics or courier experience is a plus, it’s not mandatory. We value attitude, adaptability, and a proactive approach above all else.
