Job Description
Operations Coordinator
Location: Droitwich
Type: Permanent, full-time
Compensation: Competitive salary plus benefits
Role Overview
The Operations Coordinator is required to provide full administrative support to all Managerial and Supervisory staff within the Protective Coatings team. Through daily organisation of schedules, available resources, logistics and project timelines, the Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the operational teams.
Responsibilities
- Answering the telephone in a professional manner and directing incoming telephone calls appropriately.
- Using the CRM system to collate and report business information as required.
- Providing support for all operational staff.
- Scheduling & Planning of daily planned and reactive works.
- Ordering materials and equipment required for the smooth delivery of projects, including the correct raising and issuing of purchase orders and the goods receiving process.
- Maintaining the efficient and professional standards of the depot.
- To assist with the general office administration duties required for the efficient running of the depot.
- Invoicing of jobs on completion including submission to the client whether via email or client specific portals.
- Monitor training records for all operational staff ensuring the required training is booked and logged accordingly, along with re-booking training which is due to expire.
- Monitor asset records and update the system accordingly with re-calibrations, inspections and servicing.
- Any other administrative duties that may be required on an ad-hoc basis.
- Providing full office cover in the event of absence of other office staff for any reason.
- Any other duties for which the operations coordinator is suitably experienced and qualified to undertake and instructed to do so by Supervision to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications
About You
- Previous experience of operating in a dynamic office environment.
- Strong computer skills, including all Microsoft office applications.
- Scheduling & Planning experience advantageous.
- Must be able to operate on own initiative without supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to tailor such skills to any group of people.
- Right to work in the UK.
