Operations Coordinator

Location & Details

  • Location: Letchworth
  • Salary: £26,811.20
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday, 10 am to 7 pm
  • Contract: Permanent

The Role

This role is at the core of our Service Centre. As the Operations Coordinator, you’ll:

  • Coordinate couriers and deliveries to ensure customer service level agreements (SLAs) are met
  • Support the control team and maintain smooth operations
  • Resolve day-to-day queries and adapt plans as priorities shift

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinating designated couriers to meet customer SLAs
  • Supporting drivers and resolving day-to-day operational queries
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues in operations and control
  • Keeping systems up-to-date (e.g., CityTrak / X-Despatch)
  • Adapting plans and priorities dynamically throughout the day

Requirements

  • Experience in a busy operational or customer service environment
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and communicate confidently
  • Strong organisation and accuracy skills, with experience using systems
  • Basic Microsoft Office proficiency

Ideally, you’ll have a background in logistics or courier operations, but we prioritise the right attitude and approach.

Note: All candidates will undergo a DBS check as part of the hiring process.
