Position: Operations Data Analyst

Location: Milton Keynes

Shift patterns: Monday-Friday. Day time hours (08:00-16:30)

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Working closely with Operations, IT, and customers, you'll develop impactful reporting and dashboards, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver solutions that enhance efficiency, service, and business performance. A Typical Day May Involve

  • Act as the primary liaison between Operations and IT, translating business needs into technical requirements and driving change initiatives through to implementation
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting, dashboards, and BI solutions using Power BI, Excel, SQL, and other reporting tools
  • Analyse, investigate, validate, and cleanse data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with business requirements
  • Conduct testing, quality assurance, user acceptance testing (UAT), and root cause analysis to support system improvements and resolve recurring issues
  • Partner with Operations, IT, customers, and key stakeholders to identify reporting opportunities, gather requirements, and deliver data-driven solutions
  • Manage system and reporting change requests, including stakeholder communications, testing, issue resolution, and benefit tracking
  • Investigate and resolve data, reporting, and system issues within agreed service levels, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed

This Role Would Suit People Who

  • Previous data input experience with excellent attention to detail is essential
  • Experienced in using SQL's, Power BI and Microsoft packages is essential
  • Strong Administration skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - Verbal and written
  • Ability to use appropriate tools and methods to transform data into meaningful outputs
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, using statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
  • Proven IT and mathematical skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
