Operations Delivery Manager

ISEB Operations Delivery Manager – Critical Role in Portfolio Expansion

We’re seeking an Operations Delivery Manager to lead our operational delivery of qualifications, assessments, and publishing products during a period of demanding growth. Join us as we enhance our offer to independent schools—this is an opportunity to shape the future of education assessment in the UK and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll oversee a small, skilled team responsible for:

  • End-to-end assessment cycles, from registration to results and certification
  • Ensuring product delivery is efficient, secure and meets the highest international standards
  • Championing process improvements, operational excellence, and customer experience
  • Launching new products while maintaining existing service integrity

Collaborative work spans product development, education, stakeholder communications, and commercial teams—a chance to optimise processes that support thousands of pupils.

Role Scope

The manager will cover:

1. Core Operational Delivery

  • Qualification and publishing delivery
  • Operational project management

About the Position

  • Location: Remote/hybrid (operating across UK)
  • Salary: Up to £35k per annum, based on experience and market benchmarks
  • Start: ASAP (ideal candidate would commence before Q4 2023)

Requirements

Essential: ✔ Significant experience in qualification/assessment delivery or education services ✔ Expertise managing complex operational programmes and end-to-end assessment lifecycle ✔ Impeccable project and time management, with a strong focus on accuracy ✔ Proven ability to enhance customer experience through operational efficiency ✔ Proven leadership across teams, with experience in budgeting, supplier management, and resourcing ✔ Advanced stakeholder management and stakeholder communications

Highly Desirable: 🔹 Experience in an awarding organisation or assessment provider 🔹 Digital assessment delivery expertise 🔹 Familiarity with independent school sector standards or publisher workflows
