Operations Director
Ladbroke Hall is seeking an Operations Director to join the next chapter of one of London’s most ambitious cultural destinations. This is a role for a seasoned operator with management experience, strategic mindset, and leadership presence. This role will take full management of the operating team, reporting into the CEO, Founder, and Board stakeholders. This is a key moment for Ladbroke Hall as an organization, bringing on a key senior leader to the team who can thrive in dynamic environments, bring clarity to complexity, and feel motivated by the opportunity to shape a growing institution at the intersection of culture, hospitality, design, and live experience.
The ideal candidate is both analytical and intuitive in the arts: capable of driving operational excellence across a multifaceted organization while understanding that cultural venues are ultimately built on atmosphere, inspired vision, and human connection. This role will engage both strategic and executional skillset, while tapping into creativity & cultural sense. We are looking for a candidate who can showcase strategic thinking, can move fluidly between planning and real-time execution, a wide-ranging generalist skillset, a demonstrated ability to multi-task, comfort in high-pressure situations, and strong communication skills.
10+ years of experience. Backgrounds in general management, startups, consulting, high-growth ventures, or complex operational business (e.g. hospitality and service industries) will be well-suited to this role. A blend of organizational rigor, as well as being equally energized by the arts, creative community, and building meaningful guest experiences.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
