Operations Director - Repairs

Permanent Location: Ealing/Staines (Hybrid) Package: Competitive

About the Role

As Operations Director - Repairs, you’ll be accountable for creating a repairs service that customers trust. You’ll provide strategic and operational leadership across:

  • Responsive repairs
  • Surveying
  • Voids
  • Minor works
  • Disrepair services

This role reports to the Chief Repairs Officer and focuses on bringing together colleagues, contractors, and partners to deliver a safe, reliable, and consistent repairs service. Through effective governance, assurance, and continuous improvement, you will strengthen the way we work and ensure every repair is accountability and customer-centric.

As a member of the Operational Management Team, your contributions will shape the wider success of A2Dominion, reinforcing the principle that customers experience one organisation and shaping outcomes are a shared responsibility.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for an experienced housing professional with:

  • Significant senior leadership experience in repairs, maintenance, or property services.
  • A proven track record of leading complex operational services, operating within a highly regulated environment.
  • Strong commercial and operational judgement, including:
    • Managing contractor performance.
    • Strengthening governance and assurance.
    • Balancing customer outcomes, operational priorities, value for money, and regulatory compliance.
  • An aptitude for building trusted relationships and using data-as-intelligence to drive decision-making.
  • Capacity to create an environment where teams:
    • Take responsibility for their work.
    • Are held accountable for commitments.
    • Actively seek ways to improve and deliver for customers.
