Location: South of England / 12 month Fixed Term Contract

This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of specialist neurological care.

We are looking for an experienced, clinically qualified Operations Director to lead our growing Neuro Division across services in Bristol, Kent and South London. This role is ideally suited to someone based in the South East or South West of England who has a proven track record of leading inpatient healthcare services and is excited by the opportunity to help build and transform services within a fast-growing organisation.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a unique opportunity to lead the transformation of specialist care services, delivering high-quality clinical care within a modern independent healthcare environment.

You will bring significant operational leadership experience, either as the leader of an inpatient hospital or as an Operations Director with oversight of one or more inpatient hospitals. Alongside your strong clinical background, you will have a deep understanding of delivering high-quality inpatient care and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through change and growth.

We're looking for someone who thrives in an ambitious, evolving environment. As we continue to expand our Neuro Division through the development of new services and facilities, you'll play a key role in challenging traditional models of care, driving innovation, and helping redefine what's possible for people living with neurological conditions.

The successful candidate will have significant operational leadership experience within hospitals, ideally in the independent healthcare sector, and a strong understanding of private and insurance-funded healthcare pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead operational strategy and performance across the Neuro Division, specifically focusing on the South.
  • Oversee the conversion and development of specialist neurological and spinal care homes into hospital-level services.
  • Ensure full compliance with healthcare regulations including Care Quality Commission standards.
  • Develop strong relationships with consultants, referring clinicians, and private insurers.
  • Drive operational excellence, patient experience, and service growth.
  • Support multi-site operations with travel to London and nationally as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
