Blair West are supporting a PE-backed, B-Corp certified games business, to find an Operations Director. The business has trebled in size over the last three years, with products sold in more than 50 countries worldwide. Following recent Private Equity investment, the business is accelerating international expansion, increasing control of its supply chain and distribution activities, and investing in future growth opportunities. This is a newly created executive leadership position, reporting to the Co-CEO and joining the Executive Team to build the operational foundations required for the next stage of growth.
The opportunity:
- Lead all operational activity across manufacturing, logistics, warehousing and supply chain, supporting a growing international consumer products business.
- Develop and implement scalable operational processes that improve efficiency, automation and business resilience.
- Partner with leaders across commercial, finance, ecommerce and product functions to improve cross-functional collaboration and decision-making.
- Drive operational excellence across global supply chains, balancing inventory, cash flow, customer demand and seasonal trading requirements.
- Oversee supplier relationships and production partnerships, ensuring quality, performance and continuity across international markets.
- Champion the effective use of systems, data and ERP tools to improve visibility, reporting and operational performance.
- Lead and develop operational teams, creating clarity, accountability and alignment across the business.
- Support the organisation’s sustainability commitments, ensuring operational activities align with B-Corp and ESG objectives.
- Play a key role in shaping operational strategy as the business expands across the US, Europe and other international markets.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this role if you have:
- Significant experience leading operations, supply chain, manufacturing or logistics functions within a consumer products environment.
- A proven track record of scaling operational capability within a fast-growth, investor-backed business.
- Experience managing global supply chains and hard-line consumer goods across multiple international markets.
- Strong process improvement expertise, with a history of implementing systems, automation, and operational controls.
- Experience working with ERP platforms and leveraging data to improve business performance and decision-making.
- A collaborative leadership style, capable of bringing together diverse teams and simplifying complex challenges.
- Experience working with major US retailers, ideally including Walmart and/or Target.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- A genuine interest in sustainability, operational excellence and building high-performing teams.
