A Little About Us

Parico is an established technology business with a history of delivering innovative and secure solutions to Public Sector customers across the United Kingdom. Our team are motivated individuals that help each other to do remarkable things every day. We face challenges together and we win together. At Parico, we deliver world-class solutions that transform the way that our clients use technology.

The Role:

Parico is seeking a strategic and accomplished Operations Director to drive the company’s continued growth and success. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, this role is central to powering the operational engine of the business; ensuring efficiency, building high-performing teams and executing strategic initiatives. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and senior leaders, you will align company-wide operations and develop processes that keep Parico agile and responsive to customer and market needs.

You will own critical strategic initiatives from concept through execution, serving as both a hands-on operational leader and a trusted advisor. By streamlining processes, strengthening cross-functional collaboration and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, you will help Parico scale its capabilities across the Defence, National Security and broader Public Sector landscape.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Be fully accountable for the day-to-day running of the business, staying close to the detail and working hands-on with teams to resolve issues, maintain momentum, coordinate priorities and ensure Parico operates smoothly, efficiently and at pace.
  • Take ownership to successfully deliver strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution, under the guidance of the Board of Directors
  • Develop and improve current processes and optimise organisational procedures for efficiency and productivity across Parico
  • Lead and support high-performing teams across the business, ensuring they can operate at pace and successfully deliver outcomes by overseeing and guiding both direct and indirect reports—through regular one-on-one meetings, clear objective setting, holiday and absence management, and team huddles—to foster effective communication and collaboration
  • Be able to shape and influence teams and stakeholders to ensure that organisational priorities are realised, surfacing tensions and resolving conflicts when they occur
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert, handling inquiries, developing action plans, and assisting with preparation and dissemination of communications
  • Act as an informed advisor to the Chief Executive Officer, providing clear and rapid analysis of key issues and strategies across the business including our customer landscape, providing situationally aware advice and handling plans for emergent issues.
  • Be responsible for ensuring join up across the Parico Senior Leadership Team and that wider inputs into the leadership team issues are well considered, joined up and timely.
  • Run and participate in the weekly Senior Leadership Team meetings and both curate a thoughtful agenda as well as deliver on cross cutting actions and outcomes decided on by the leadership team, leading on work streams as and when appropriate to deliver initiatives from concept to completion
  • Leverage your professional network to support the identification and pursuit of Defence, National Security and wider Public Sector opportunities for Parico

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
