We are currently looking for an Operations Engineer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As an Operations Engineer, you will:

  • Carry out both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work on installations
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by efficiently diagnosing and implementing reactive maintenance work for our clients’ installations—and those of external users
  • Oversee and optimise the operational processes of a company’s systems to increase productivity, reduce waste, and lower downtime

About You

To excel as an Operations Engineer, you will need:

  • A minimum qualification equivalent to:

    • ONC/D
    • NVQ Level II
    • City & Guilds Level 2 In a relevant area such as mechanical engineering or motor vehicle studies.
  • Proven experience as a competent time-served technician in a mechanical discipline, preferably with at least three years’ experience.

  • Strong in-depth knowledge of gas, petrol or diesel engines.

  • Proficient IT skills, including effective use of Microsoft Office packages.

  • A full, valid driving licence (as part of the role involves travel to client sites).

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Important: The role involves weekend work and possible out-of-hours shifts, with participation in a 24-hour callout programme managed by a rota system.
