We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
- Act as the central nervous system for incidents, coordinating responses across production, broadcast engineering, editing, and operations.
- Monitor a wide variety of systems and technologies for potential issues.
- Handle incoming communications and tickets, performing triage, resolution, and escalation for incidents ranging from low priority to critical on-air emergencies.
- Coordinate communication for Major Incidents that have organization-wide impact.
- Log all incidents and requests using an industry-standard IT Service Management tool.
- Participate in larger projects, including equipment installation, removal, integration, and testing in various facilities.

What You'll Need
- Competency in digital audio & video studio environments, control systems, audio/video editing technology, MAM, and contribution/distribution systems.
- Strong understanding of IP production environments (SMPTE 2022/2110).
- Solid understanding of the production and editorial process and how technology failures impact content creation and output.
- Experience with service management processes, including incident management, major incident management, and change management.
- Ability to lead response efforts during Major Incidents, set priorities, and provide direction.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for engaging stakeholders and providing clear, concise updates.
