Job Description
What will you be doing?
We’re seeking talented individuals to join our Operations team in Liverpool. In this role, you’ll perform daily processing functions—checking, reviewing, and executing all Operations tasks—while ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements and upholding service level agreements (SLAs) and data quality controls.

- Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard, on time, with clear escalation protocols for anomalies.
- Monitor and support team-key performance indicators (KPIs), Key Result Indicators (KRIs), and Management Information Reports (MIRs)—highlighting any issues to management.
- Respond professionally and promptly to phone, email, and system enquiries, liaising with external parties as needed and escalating issues appropriately.
- Log, maintain, and process written client enquiries efficiently, ensuring all documents remain accurate and up to date.
- Foster a high-quality culture by minimising errors and delivering consistent, accurate service levels, including data input, document checks, and timely escalations.
- Ensure fair treatment of clients, maintaining open, transparent, and compliant interactions across all activities.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential Requirements
To excel in this role, you should:
- Demonstrate a strong interest in financial services.
- Have a basic level of Microsoft Word and intermediate-level Excel skills.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively—written and verbally—to senior stakeholders.
- Be able to analyse complex information, summarise it professionally, and resolve issues quickly and accurately.
- Organise workloads effectively, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to team priorities with a flexible approach.
- Provide steady and high-quality customer service, both internally and externally, with prompt responses to queries.

Desirable (Not Required But Helpful)
- Previous financial services experience, particularly in Operations roles—great but not mandatory.
- For candidates with no relevant experience, qualifications such as:
- Scottish Higher/GCSEs (or equivalent) at Level C or higher in a relevant subject.
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as the CISI Investment Operations Certificate—advantageous but not essential.
