About us

Rivan Industries is a vertically integrated synthetic fuel company designed to decarbonise industries that can’t be electrified.

Over the past 2 years, we’ve designed and manufactured a modular synthetic fuel plant consisting of a DAC system, an Alkaline Electrolyser, and a Sabatier Reactor, vertically integrating with off-grid DC solar and the European gas grid. We’ve recently deployed the UK’s largest synthetic fuel plant and are planning to 1000x this scale in the next 2 years. We now have a clear line of sight to producing synthetic fuels cheaper than fossil fuels over the next 5-10 years, becoming the first company in history to achieve this feat.

We’re looking for an Operations Lead – technically minded and elite at execution – with the scar tissue to own the foundations our company runs on, so we can meet our exponential manufacturing and deployment targets without anything critical breaking underneath us.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
