About The Role
As a Operations Lead WSCP you will provide specialist knowledge and expertise on all documentation associated with Safe Systems of Work and to ensure the effective lifetime management of the documentation of the WSCP system. Must be able to ensure work is undertaken safely. Have authority to control all works on the plant and communicate between shift and craft foreman to plan and execute work and isolations.
You will report to the Plant Manager and be located at Springfiels.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue and communicate safety documentation/information for a prescribed area of plant, which may include SSP's and Permits to Work WSCP and isolations
- Provide advice and guidance on issues appropriate to the working area
- Interfaces/liaises with plant controller/OTM, Shift and Day craft teams and management team
- Maintain a high standard and transparent WSCP system with the ability to provide evidence through good record keeping
- Audit and self-audit current WSCP system and maintain a high standard of correct working
- Complies with legislative, regulatory, and company procedures and standards such as, safety, quality, risk, security, appropriate to the role
- Proactively looks to improve systems in the working area utilising best practice

Qualifications
- Delivers specific targets and passes weekly SPM audits
- Evidence of high-quality individual contribution to the achievement of improved local and site-wide safety standards/awareness in operations of WSCP system and best practice sharing
- Completion of tasks within given standards and timescales
- Adheres to all legislative, regulatory and company procedures and standards appropriate to the role
- Accuracy of data and recording of data
- Lower professional qualification recognised - craft apprenticeship, certificate of competence, BTEC with typically 5 years relevant experience
- For internal candidates’ suitable relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications where appropriate.
