Operations Manager

Location: Central London (Hybrid – 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home)

We are a small, established international interior design practice based in the heart of Central London. Our work spans luxury residential and hospitality projects across the globe, and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional design in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the business and support our continued growth. This is a varied, hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working across operations, people management and business administration within a creative environment.

The Role

You will oversee business operations, HR, payroll, office management and administrative functions, while helping to develop systems and processes that enable the team to perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the firm's day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee payroll, employee benefits and HR administration.
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and company policies.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance review processes and staff development.

  • Manage contracts, insurance, company documentation and operational policies.
  • Support financial administration alongside external accountants.
  • Develop and improve operational processes and internal systems.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative and professional office culture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
