Role Mission
Own the end-to-end operational delivery of the The Diary of a CEO/Behind The Diary product ecosystem, ensuring products are sourced, launched, delivered, and replenished effectively to support growth—both at launch and in the long term.
This role encompasses ecommerce operations, supply chain, merchandising, buying, and product delivery, with responsibility for:
- Managing suppliers
- Overseeing stock and inventory planning
- Coordination of operational timelines
- Ensuring smooth, efficient product flow from concept to market
As the operational owner across the product function, you’ll balance commercial performance, customer demand, operational efficiency, and execution, driving revenue growth while minimising risk. You’ll work closely with the Head of Product & Ecommerce to:
- Optimise operational readiness
- Align supply planning, inventory management, and launch execution
- Scale the operations and supply chain function as the ecosystem expands
This is a hands-on, mission-critical role in a fast-growing business.
Key Outcomes
- Control stock and inventory management, ensuring optimal levels and minimising stockouts or excess inventory
- Manage replenishment cycles and stock continuity to maintain availability of top-selling products while managing surplus
- Build data-driven demand forecasts based on sales trends, marketing activity, and launch plans—key to informed buying and supply decisions
- Source, onboard, and manage suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability, and strong commercial terms
- Support buying and range planning, aligning product sourcing, costing, and ordering with demand and objectives
- Oversee product development and launch timelines, coordinating across product, creative, suppliers, and operations teams
- Improve end-to-end supply chain efficiency in production, logistics, fulfilment, and ecommerce operations
- Ensure operational readiness for launches with optimal stock, planning, and delivery timelines
- Optimise margins through cost control, supplier negotiation, and operational efficiencies
- Facilitate seamless cross-functional execution between product, ecommerce, growth, and creative teams

- Experienced in operations, ecommerce, merchandising, buying, supply chain, or product operations
- Deep understanding of operational processes in production, logistics, inventory, and ecommerce
- Expertise in supplier management, stock planning, forecasting, and operational delivery
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with insight into margins, profitability, and cost structures
- Exceptional project and stakeholder management, juggling multiple timelines and priorities
- Data-driven mindset to inform forecasting, planning, and buying decisions
- Agile problem-solving skills for fast-paced scenarios
- Central operational lead shaping efficiency across ecommerce, supply chain, and product delivery
