Operations Manager

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Manager to support the day-to-day running of our global recruitment business.

Working closely with the leadership team, you'll play an important role in ensuring business operations run efficiently, supporting internal processes, coordinating key activities, and helping teams across the organisation work effectively.

This is a varied position suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple functions and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Location: Nottingham, with responsibility for supporting operational activities across our international offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate operational activities to ensure the business runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
  • Support directors and senior leaders with business planning, scheduling, and operational priorities.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers and service providers, ensuring contracts and services are maintained effectively.
  • Oversee workplace resources, technology requirements, and facilities to support business continuity.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of company meetings, events, and internal initiatives.
  • Monitor operational processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Maintain accurate operational records, documentation, and business information.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across the business to resolve operational issues and support business objectives.
  • Assist with the implementation of new systems and operational improvements as the business continues to grow.

About You

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, adaptable, and enjoys bringing structure to a busy business.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in an operations, business support, administration, or coordination role.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A solutions-focused mindset with the ability to identify and implement improvements.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Previous experience in recruitment, professional services, or another fast-paced commercial environment would be beneficial.
