UK Roller Shutters Ltd is a leading company in the shutter and garage door industry. We provide tailored shutter solutions to industrial, commercial, and residential customers across the UK and work with some of the country's largest organisations, including government and private security services. Our reputation is built on quality, reliability, and outstanding customer service.

Role Description

Shutter industry experience is essential.

This is a full-time, on-site Operations Manager role based in Wombourne. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the installation, service, and maintenance departments, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

The role includes:

  • Managing operational teams
  • Planning workloads
  • Coordinating engineers and resources
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers
  • Monitoring performance
  • Driving continuous improvement across the business

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within the shutter, industrial door, or related industry is essential.
  • Proven experience in an Operations Manager or similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent operational planning, resource management, and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, suppliers, engineers, and colleagues.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships, procurement, and material scheduling.
  • A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Good understanding of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant vocational training or qualifications in operations, management, or a related field are desirable.
