Company Overview
Our client is a well-established, owner-managed business with a growing portfolio of specialist ecommerce brands serving customers across the UK and the United States. Operating within technical product markets, the business has built a strong reputation for quality, service, and expertise. As it enters an exciting phase of growth, they are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to help drive operational excellence and commercial performance.
Role Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of a growing business. Working closely with the business owner, you will lead a small team, oversee operational performance, and introduce the systems, processes, and commercial discipline needed to support continued growth.
This role would suit an ambitious Operations Manager, Project Manager, Ecommerce Manager, Branch Manager, or Commercial Manager looking to step into a broader leadership position with genuine influence over business performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
