Operations Manager

Ultimate Cheer is looking for an organised and proactive Operations Manager to manage our staff and customers. This is a part-time role (ideally 18-20 hours/week, 3-4 hours/day) with flexible hours, perfect for someone experienced in management, communications, and business performance. We’re looking for someone reliable, friendly, and excited to be part of a growing and positive community long-term.

About Ultimate Cheer

Ultimate Cheer is a National Champion-winning All Star Cheerleading team located in London. Our dedicated training facility in Clapham offers a wide range of Cheerleading, Tumbling, and Dance classes for individuals of all ages and abilities, including both adult and kids' teams aged 3 and above. At Ultimate Cheer, we prioritise fostering a supportive, welcoming, and positive environment. Our aim is to develop well-rounded athletes who can carry the valuable lessons they learn from cheerleading throughout their lives.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Manage staff and coordinate with various teams to ensure the smooth running of the club
  • Oversee the management of club members to ensure a positive experience
  • Oversee club performance and lead strategy to drive growth
  • Oversee staff recruitment and training
  • Manage payroll
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive club culture
  • Act as a central point of accountability for the smooth running of the club
  • Ensure compliance with club policies

Required skills and qualifications

  • A positive and inclusive attitude that aligns with our club's ethos and values
  • Management experience required
  • Confident decision-making and problem-solving
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong initiative and exceptional organisational skills
  • Proficiency in G Suite tools, including Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
  • Previous experience in cheerleading is not required
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (we can help you get one if needed)
