Operations Manager
Ultimate Cheer is looking for an organised and proactive Operations Manager to manage our staff and customers. This is a part-time role (ideally 18-20 hours/week, 3-4 hours/day) with flexible hours, perfect for someone experienced in management, communications, and business performance. We’re looking for someone reliable, friendly, and excited to be part of a growing and positive community long-term.
About Ultimate Cheer
Ultimate Cheer is a National Champion-winning All Star Cheerleading team located in London. Our dedicated training facility in Clapham offers a wide range of Cheerleading, Tumbling, and Dance classes for individuals of all ages and abilities, including both adult and kids' teams aged 3 and above. At Ultimate Cheer, we prioritise fostering a supportive, welcoming, and positive environment. Our aim is to develop well-rounded athletes who can carry the valuable lessons they learn from cheerleading throughout their lives.

What you'll be responsible for
- Manage staff and coordinate with various teams to ensure the smooth running of the club
- Oversee the management of club members to ensure a positive experience
- Oversee club performance and lead strategy to drive growth
- Oversee staff recruitment and training
- Manage payroll
- Maintain a positive, inclusive club culture
- Act as a central point of accountability for the smooth running of the club
- Ensure compliance with club policies
Required skills and qualifications
- A positive and inclusive attitude that aligns with our club's ethos and values
- Management experience required
- Confident decision-making and problem-solving
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong initiative and exceptional organisational skills
- Proficiency in G Suite tools, including Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
- Previous experience in cheerleading is not required
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (we can help you get one if needed)
