District Manager / Area Operations Manager
South West (Plymouth & Exeter)
£50,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
We're recruiting on behalf of an exciting and fast-growing QSR franchise partner operating one of America's most recognised quick-service restaurant brands. With two established locations in Plymouth and Exeter and ambitious expansion plans already in place, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced multi-site operator to play a key role in building the business for the future.
The Opportunity
This isn't a corporate middle-management role. We're looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on, driving operational excellence and developing high-performing management teams.
You'll take ownership of two busy restaurants, ensuring they consistently deliver exceptional standards across people, performance, compliance and profitability while creating the structure needed to support future growth.
Working closely with the franchise owner, you'll become a trusted operational leader, allowing the business to expand with confidence as new sites are added.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
