Operations Manager
Are you excited to take on a pivotal role as part of our Site Leadership Team? Are you motivated by working collaboratively at the heart of operations, where your leadership directly shapes success?
Your Role
As Terminal Operations Manager, you’ll promote a Zero Accident culture, role model safe working practices, and ensure high performance operations. Using real-time data, SIC techniques, and effective communication, you’ll help keep teams aligned, efficient, and focused on achieving operational goals.
You’ll develop and support Operations Team Leaders and Control Room staff, providing clarity, guidance, and opportunities for continuous improvement across both terminals. Through collaboration, inclusive leadership, and a commitment to exceptional service, you’ll help enhance safety, quality, and operational performance.
What You'll Bring
You will have:
- Significant experience managing operational staff within large-scale logistics, transport, or port environments.
- Strong operational planning and leadership capability, with a proven record of delivering against KPIs and SLAs.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop others, helping individuals and teams achieve their potential.
- Solid understanding of EHS management systems and risk control, with a commitment to safe and compliant working practices.
- Analytical and evidence-based driven approach, with experience using short interval control or structured performance review methods to improve operational performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams, senior leaders, and external partners.
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification. (desirable)
