Operations Manager
Operations Manager – Warehouse Operations
Role Location: GSF Car Parts Warehouse
About the Role
As Operations Manager at GSF Car Parts, you will lead, motivate, and manage a team of Warehouse Operatives and Delivery Drivers, ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently, targets are met, and customer service remains exceptional.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee warehouse processes, systems, and departments—including Goods In / Out, Returns, and Stock Control—to ensure accurate handling, dispatch, and productivity.
- Manage team performance and develop strategies to improve operating efficiency.
- Verify stock accuracy by reconciling stock levels with computer records and resolving discrepancies.
- Lead and develop the warehouse team, assisting with staffing (holidays/sickness cover), weekly planning, and internal training.
- Work closely with Drivers to optimise delivery timeliness and quality.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to track and report PARC report KPIs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive culture to maximise employee potential and satisfaction.
- Use individual initiative to troubleshoot challenges and implement constructive solutions.

Working Hours & Location
- Average 45-hour week, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday shift requirements.
About You
- A proven track record of warehouse or operations management, ideally in a fast-paced environment (preferably FMCG).
- Demonstrable experience leading, motivating, and coaching teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and adapt quickly to dynamic situations.
- Familiarity with MAM (Warehouse Management) systems is desirable but not essential.
