Vercity are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager (Soft Services) at one of our flagship SPV projects supporting 3 hospitals in Nottinghamshire.
Based at primarily at King’s Mill Hospital with occasional travel to Newark Hospital and Mansfield Community Hospitals this role is a key position within the SPV ensuring that a combination of 12 separate services are delivered effectively, to satisfy the contract and Board requirements.
The successful candidate will be experienced in the management of complex soft service contracts within a healthcare setting, and ideally in an SPV / PFI, to join our established team and report to the project General Manager.

- Ensuring the contractual delivery of complex soft FM services
- Understanding problems and able to evaluate and communicate solutions options
- Ensuring contract compliance and accurate, contemporaneous record keeping
- Assurance, audit, monitoring and governance
- Regular contract reporting and understanding and delivering on contract KPIs
- Contractor Management and Communications
You will be:
- An effective and pragmatic communicator who can engage effectively with service providers while holding them to account where necessary
- A pragmatic problem solver who is seen on site, ensuring effective delivery
- Experienced in evidence-based compliance and audit in a complex contractual environment
- Experienced in the management of soft services in a complex contractual environment within a healthcare / hospital setting
- Great stakeholder management and communications
