Operations Manager – Caterlink
Company Description
Caterlink is the education sector catering specialist. For over 20 years, the Company has delivered fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, and Colleges across the UK, serving over 1,000,000 meals a week. Our "Fresh Food Policy" is the foundation of our success and growth, supported by a commitment to delivering on client promises.

Operations Manager (52-week Permanent Role)
Location
Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington (North West UK)
Salary & Benefits
- £50,000 – £55,000 per year
- Monday to Friday, 40-hour week
- Monthly car allowance or company car
- 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)

About the Role
You’ll manage a portfolio of 24 schools across primary, secondary, and colleges, ensuring operational excellence, financial health, safety standards, and strong team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop teams across a diverse portfolio of schools, fostering strong client relationships.
- Be commercially astute and ready to "roll up your sleeves" to support operational challenges.
- Align performance to Caterlink’s KPIs: Health & Safety, Retention, Quality, Finance.
- Embrace a culture driven by People, Perception, Passion, and Pride.
- Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusivity across all operations.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
✔ Essential
- Proven experience in catering and operational management.
- Recent background in schools/corporate administration, preferably in education.
- Enhanced DBS disclosure required for all shortlisted candidates.
✔ Strong preference for:
- Financial acumen to manage budgets.
- Passion for food and hospitality.
- Ability to manage a multi-site portfolio effectively.
