Operations Manager – UK Airports

Salary: Up to £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits

We're partnering with one of the fastest-growing food-to-go and hospitality businesses in the world to appoint an exceptional Operations Manager to lead its UK Airport portfolio.

With 500+ locations globally and ambitious plans to grow to 1,000 stores by 2028, this is a business experiencing phenomenal momentum across the UK, Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia. Backed by significant investment and with a people-first culture, this is a rare opportunity to join a business that's genuinely redefining the premium grab-and-go market.

The Role

Reporting into the Senior Leadership Team, you'll have full operational responsibility for the company's UK airport estate, leading multiple high-volume locations across some of the country's busiest travel hubs.

This is a commercially focused leadership role where you'll balance operational excellence, people development, and business growth while delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Store Managers across multiple airport locations.
  • Drive sales, profitability, and operational performance across the region.
  • Ensure outstanding execution of brand standards and customer experience.
  • Build high-performing leadership teams through recruitment, succession planning, and coaching.
  • Analyse commercial performance and implement strategies to improve KPIs.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of food safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Work closely with airport stakeholders and internal support teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Support new store openings and future expansion projects.
  • Champion company culture while creating an engaging environment for your teams.

You'll ideally have:

  • Multi-site operational management experience within hospitality, food-to-go, QSR, coffee, retail, or travel retail.
  • Experience leading high-volume locations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of delivering sales and profit growth.
  • Exceptional leadership and coaching skills.
  • Experience managing large teams through multiple layers of management.
  • The ability to influence, motivate, and inspire others.
  • A hands-on approach with excellent organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK airport estate.
