Job Title: Operations Manager - Fitness
Location: Central London (New Site)
About The Role
You will lead a premium, world-class Corporate Client Wellbeing experience for a high-profile global organisation, owning the operational and commercial delivery of services, events, and projects while bringing energetic, thoughtful, and accountable leadership to both your team and the experience you create.
With an unwavering commitment to maintaining a Wellness Sanctuary that elevates social, physical, and psychological wellbeing across studios, pool, MUGA, and recovery spaces, you’ll build an environment where excellence is the norm, and your team can execute with creative autonomy and relentless quality. You’ll shape high-performing teams and pioneering services that push the boundaries of corporate wellbeing, while collaborating with leaders and contributors across EMEA to deliver service excellence. If you thrive in high-energy, high-performance settings and have deep experience optimising people, operations, and commercials, this is where you belong.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Senior Performance Manager to design, implement, and evaluate operational strategy that consistently meets or exceeds Client, Partner, and commercial objectives.
- Build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with Clients, Partners, Vendors, and the wider Westfield Health EMEA team to drive long-term contract success and cross-pollinate best practice.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of a premium Wellness Sanctuary Experience across all site spaces, optimising social, physical, and psychological wellbeing.
- Produce and communicate monthly site plans, including programme roadmap updates, innovation opportunities, service improvements, and performance insights.
- Provide visible, effective leadership to structure, develop, and motivate a high-performing team, using a high-challenge, high-support approach.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams (HR, finance, IT, propositions, marketing, CSR) and external stakeholders (suppliers, contractors, specialists) to deliver and evolve the wellbeing proposition.
- Drive operational excellence through continuous performance review, efficiency creation, and proactive problem-solving.
- Deliver regular reporting to the Senior Performance Manager, summarising current and forecasted performance across key site metrics and roadmap progress.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
